LSUA Welcomes New Faculty Members

Martha McMillan is one of the newest members of the Department of Nursing. She is an experienced nurse with a B.S.N. from Louisiana College and a M.S.N. from Western Governors University.
Lisa Bradford is also with the Department of Nursing and comes to LSUA with clinical nursing experience. She has a B.S.N. from Indiana Wesleyan University and a M.S.N. from UL Lafayette.
Catherine Doyle is a new assistant professor with the Department of Nursing. She comes to LSUA with a B.S.N. and M.S.N. from Southeastern Louisiana and a D.N.P. in Education and Leadership from Touro University in Nevada.
Dana Windham is also a new assistant professor in Nursing. She is an experienced nurse with a B.S.N. from Louisiana College and a M.S.N. from the University of Phoenix.
Sarah Barnes is the newest member of the Department of Allied Health. She is an experienced radiologic technologist who is also certified in computed tomography. Her bachelor’s degree is from Northwestern State and she also holds a M.B.A. from LSUS.
Beverly Alwell is a new instructor in the Department of Business Administration. She has 10 years of executive management experience along with a B.S. in Accounting from Colorado Technical University and a M.B.A. from Upper Iowa University. Additionally, she is a certified financial counselor.
Rafael Romero moves from the advising office at LSUA to the Department of Business Administration has a B.A. in Law and Economics from Centro Americana University in Managua, Nicaragua, and both a LL.M. in International Law and a M.A. in Latin American Studies from Vanderbilt University.
Hal Langford is also new to the Department of Business Administration as the LSUA Alumni & Friends Endowed Chair. He has a B.S. from Clemson University and both a M.B.A., and Ph.D. from Georgia State University. Previously, he served as a dean at Texas A&M, Commerce and taught at UL Lafayette.
Davida Crossley is a new assistant professor of Biology. She has a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi. Previously she taught at Alcorn State University.
Alex Nguyen is the newest assistant professor of Chemistry. He has a B.S. in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from LSU. He also has a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of BioMolecular Sciences, School of Pharmacy at the University of Mississippi.
