LSUA Students Recognize World AIDS Day
LSUA students are recognizing World AIDS Day.
The sponsors participated in a panel discussion, followed by a balloon release in memory of those who died from the disease.
The group provided free information about how AIDS is contracted, how someone can determine if they are infected, and especially how to help those dealing with the disease.
Even though numbers have dropped in recent years, volunteers say more can be done to prevent the disease from spreading.
