LSUA, Peabody Host Free Basketball Clinic

It might not have been much of a weekend for outdoor activity, but inside local schools gave back to their community.

On Saturday, the LSUA Generals and Peabody Warhorses basketball teams held a free clinic at the Peabody gym for local children. Participants learned the fundamentals and a little something extra about attitude and effort.

Coach Larry Cordaro says this clinic is very important.

Despite the rainy weather, organizers say the clinic had a good turn-out with nearly 70 participants showing up. Coach Cordaro says it was a big win for the teams and the community.
