LSU Of Alexandria To Host Science Fair
class=”alignleft wp-image-34874″ style=”margin: 2px 4px;” alt=”LSUA” src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/LSUA.jpg” width=”200″ height=”146″ />ALEXANDRIA, LA – LSU of Alexandria is hosting the Louisiana Region IV Science and Engineering Fair on Saturday, February 22 at the Emergency Shelter Building next to the LSUA campus.
More than 200 students in grades 5-12 from a nine parish area will compete at the regional level. The students will be broken into two divisions with the Junior Division consisting of grades 5-8 and the Senior Division holding grades 9-12. Two students from the Senior Division will be awarded a trip to the International Science and Engineering Fair held in May in Los Angeles, California.
The judging for the fair begins at 8:30am and will end at 12:30pm. The public is invited to attend from 12:30pm until 1:30pm.
The fair will conclude with an awards ceremony beginning at 2:30 in Coughlin Hall on the LSUA campus which is also open to the public.
