LSU Board of Supervisors Meets at LSUA

The LSU Board of Supervisors held its June meeting at LSUA yesterday.

With the legislative session ending there were items that needed to be discussed, including new course offerings and the looming budget crisis that could be facing cuts in December again.

We spoke with LSU System President, Doctor King Alexander, to get his take on this.

Other items on the agenda were requests to establish more graduate certificates, a Master of Science degree, including a doctorate degree in philosophy. There is also a recommendation to revise and reenact procedures for a student to sit on the board of supervisors.
