Louisianians Celebrate Fat Tuesday

fattuesday2Today is Fat Tuesday and all around Louisiana people are either still celebrating or worn out from all the parades.

fattuesdayFat Tuesday refers to the events of the carnival celebrations, beginning on or after the Christians feasts of the Epiphany and Culmination on the day before Ash Wednesday. Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday reflecting the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season.

    I find it very difficult to watch KLAX due to the “skips” in the dialog. This doesn’t happen on other channels.
