Probationer Found with 24 Grams of Synthetic Marijuana Being Distributed
Press Release – Agents of the Natchitoches Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force and Louisiana Probation and Parole arrest a Natchitoches man on narcotics charges.
According to a Task Force Official, on 9/13/17, Probation and Parole Agents were assisted by the Natchitoches Drug Task Force in the compliance check of Carlos Deandre Grisby (B/M/41) due to numerous complaints of the probationer distributing illicit narcotics from an apartment located in the H building of JW Thomas. Grisby was located inside the suspected apartment where Probation and Parole along with the Drug Task Force upon a compliance search located a black digital scale and approximately 24 grams of suspected synthetic marijuana. Grisby upon speaking with Probation and Parole and Drug Task Force stated that the items located within the structure belonged to him. Grisby was subsequently arrested and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center (NPDC) on the charges:
- R.S. 40:966 A/C Possession of CDS I w/ Intent (synthetic marijuana)
- R.S. 40:1023 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (digital scale)
- Article 899 Probation/Parole Violations
Grisby remains in NPDC on a $101,000.00 bond through the 10th Judicial District.
