Local State Police Receive Traffic Training to Prevent Deaths

policetrainingTraffic training is underway this afternoon at Troop E, State Police. These students are from law enforcement, emergency medical transports and even towing companies.

It’s called Traffic Incident Management, which means finding the best way to respond to a highway emergency in a safe manner.

Troopers say each year police officers, fire and rescue workers and towing professionals are hit and killed while responding to emergencies. Troopers want to lower those numbers.
