And Julia’s is getting ready for a traditional party with music, special foods, and a joyous celebration.
Though it’s often called Mexico’s Fourth of July, it’s actually the date of a battle when Mexico rebuffed a foreign power. Over the years, Mexican Americans in the United States have chosen to celebrate the day as a nod to their heritage, it’s music, and food.
That was all due to get underway with music at 6:30 and is to continue as long as the party lasts. As a reminder, Julia’s is located along the south traffic circle.
