Le Theatre Des Bon Temps Holds Auditions For Spring Musical

MARKSVILLE, LA—Le Theatre Des Bon Temps is holding auditions for their Spring Musical, HANK WILLIAMS: LOST HIGHWAY.  Auditions will be on Sunday, January 5th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  and again Monday, Janurary 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fox Performing Arts Center located at 111 S. Washington St. in Marksville.

Director, Angela McCann, is in need of 7 adult men and 3 women for the production, which will held March 28th-30th and April 4th-6th, 2014 at the Fox Performing Arts Center in Marksville.

Roles include Hank Williams, his bandmates, his wife Audrey and others.  Strong country singers and musicians are particularly needed for his band, the Drifting Cowboys.

If you play guitar, bass, steel guitar, or fiddle, please bring your instrument with you to auditions.  All auditioning will need to prepare a short country song to sing. An accompanist will be available as well as CD and mp3 player if needed for background music.  All auditioning will also read selections from the script.
