Law enforcement personnel receive service awards
Louisiana continues a six-year decline in crash deaths. As a result state officials presented recognition awards to law enforcement officers, agencies, a judge and two prosecutors for their efforts to save lives by reducing the number of impaired drivers on Louisiana roads.
And Senior Corporal Jerrod King of the Alexandria Police is an award winner for cracking down on DWI offenders. He’s shown here holding the award presented to him earlier this week in Baton Rouge. King is an 18-year veteran. This is his 6th consecutive award for DWI enforcement.
