Forestry agents arrested 39-year-old James Ainsworth back in September, saying he paid much less than was promised to a couple for nine timber loads off their property.
That investigation brought to light another case where a Jena couple says he also ripped them off of more than 28 thousand dollars.
Landowners who may have done business with Ainsworth are asked to contact the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry.
