Lacey Sanchez Crowned New Miss LA
Lacey Sanchez of Baton Rouge is now the new Miss Louisiana. She was chosen out of 32 contestants in the annual pageant Saturday night in Monroe. This was the 51st year for the event there.
Lacey is a senior at LSU, majoring in mass communications. The 23-year-old competed as Miss Lafayette.
She’s an experienced competitor, after being a member of the LSU Lady Tigers track and field team, specializing in pole vault.
Lacey will be traveling on behalf of the Children’s Miracle Network, and KLAX-TV is a CMN station.
