LA Shrimpers Turn to Internet to Increase Sales

Louisiana shrimpers are struggling with extremely low wholesale prices.

To increase their sales directly to consumers, which fetch a higher price, shrimpers are now turning to the Internet.

LSU AgCenter Correspondent Craig Gautreaux has the story.

According to The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, approximately 90 percent of the shrimp consumed in the U.S. is imported.
