Kiwanis Club Honors Firefighter of the Year
The Alexandria Kiwanis Club today honored the firefighter of the year. He’s Reginald “Reggie” Hebert. He was nominated for this honor, because he is credited with saving a woman from jumping off a bridge over the red river. His supervisors say he remained calm and professional as he talked the woman down from the bridge and saved her life.
The Kiwanis Club is dedicated to bettering the children of the world. And, they say, keeping them safe is a number one priority. That’s what firefighters do.
