The KDJMSF Scholarship will be hosting a sporting clay shoot on November 1, 2014. This event is to bring together everyone who has supported this program in the past and who wants to make a difference by helping out. The Event will be hosted in Lafayette, Louisiana at the Wilderness Gun Club. This will be an all-day event with sign in starting at 8am and the first fight of shooters starting the competition off at 9am.
The competition is based on a team effort. A single team will consist of four (4) shooters whose total number of HIT targets will win the challenge. Each player will have a chance at shooting One Hundred (100) targets spread out over 25 stations. Each station presents itself with different challenging obstacles.
Each member of each team is responsible for bringing one shot gun shells. Shot gun shells must be **LOW BRASS** due to the rules of the Gun Club. Remember SAFETY FIRST so each member is required to wear protective hearing and safety glasses (any type as long as eyes are covered). Also please keep guns in case until your team is ready to start the round.
This will be a great experience to really know how many people care about Kenny Donnelly, and who are willing to set aside time, money, and efforts to help with a great cause. The KDJMSF is a family event and we encourage everyone who to bring out you family and friends to enjoy some friendly competition and fun!
