Kathleen Blanco to speak at Women In Business Conference

Registration is now open for the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce inaugural Women in Business Conference is set for Friday, October 18th from 7:30am to 2:00pm at the Alexander Fulton Hotel located at 701 Fourth Street in downtown Alexandria. Keynote speakers for the event include Simone Bruni, owner of The Demo Diva Demolition in New Orleans and the Honorable Kathleen Blanco, former Governor, State of Louisiana.

This half-day conference will feature 3 breakout sessions in the morning with seminar topics ranging from starting a business, resources for small businesses, financial planning, healthcare and running for public office. Prior to lunch, attendees will have an opportunity to hear from Republican and Democratic members of the Women’s Caucus of the Louisiana State Legislature in a roundtable discussion moderated by Tari Bradford, Deputy State Director for Senator Mary Landrieu.

Early bird Registration is through October 15, 2013 and will increase to per person October 16-18th.
