The 57-year-old Mississippi man is accused of leading a killing spree from Arizona to Louisiana. He’s being tried for shooting 12 year old Lexis Roberts, whose remains were found by hunters in Catahoula Parish.

If convicted, he would receive the death penalty. That would be the first time this would have been done in the Western District of Louisiana.
