Julius McLaurin, former CEO of Rapides Regional, dies
The long-time president and CEO of Rapides Regional Medical Center, Julius McLaurin, has died at the age of 90.
He ran the hospital from 19-70 to 1988 and steered the hospital from its ownership by the Louisiana Baptist Convention into what became Rapides Regional.
Services are Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at First Baptist, Pineville, with arrangements by Hixson Brothers in Alexandria.
