Jindal Announces New Business to CenLA

Governor Bobby Jindal The governor was here for an economic development announcement today. He says Paperworks Industries will relocate its carton finishing operations from New York to Alexandria. This will create 43 new jobs and invest 6.6 million dollars in an existing industrial building for the operation. Another 178 indirect jobs will be slated for the region.

The factory will produce products for its largest customer, sales Proctor and Gamble in Pineville. The factory will move into the McKesson building on South MacArthur.
