Infragard Meeting Discusses Issues with Power Grid

At the CLECO Corporation, CenLA held its Infragard meeting.  Attendees were CenLA first responders, emergency managers and facility security officers.

Infragard is a partnership between the FBI and the private sector.  It is an association of persons who represent businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the U.S.

Lester Millet explained the issues about the power grid.

The Infragard meeting also discussed homeland security related issues in order to protect our nation’s critical infrastructure.
