Homeowner Holds Burglar at Gunpoint

Alexandria police say a homeowner in Landmark Subdivision held a burglar at gunpoint — until officers got there.

Brandon Howell junior of Alexandria is charged with burglary and resisting arrest. The homeowner says he heard glass breaking — early Sunday morning.

Police say Howell also broke into 2 other homes and a vehicle. He’s being treated for an injury he suffered during the break-in. Howell has been arrested 39 times.
