Helping Hands, Rapides Deputies Give Out Fans

One group is providing fans to the needy during this hot weather. As they’ve done in the past, Rapides Deputies chip in to the Helping Hand Ministries. These community deputies met early to pick up the fans at the helping hands warehouse on Greer Road in Pineville.

Deputies know many of the recipients from their routine patrols.

These fans are for those who don’t have air conditioning or any cooling source for their homes. The ministry has community partners and private donors who provide these fans each summer.
