Fort Polk – We invite you to bring your friends, coworkers and family to fill the Convention Hall at Alexandria City Hall at the upcoming March 3 Listening Session!
Army officials will be on hand in Leesville to hear comments concerning a possible 6,500 troop reduction at Fort Polk as the Army shrinks its force from 490,000 soldiers to 420,000.
The Alexandria Session will be streamed via the Internet to the Leesville Session.
The Alexandria Listening Session will begin at 6 p.m. sharp at the Convention Hall at Alexandria City Hall 915 Third Street, Alexandria, LA 71301.
Doors will open early for seating. We encourage you to arrive early and to be seated as soon as possible so that there is no delay in beginning the sessions. If you would like to make a public comment, attendees will make every effort to accommodate you.
