Hardtner Health Fair Encourages Healthy Choices

A health fair today offers free tests and screenings to hundreds of LaSalle Parish area residents.

It’s for young and old alike and many of these health care providers say this service by Hardtner Medical Center can be a path to a healthier existence.  That means checking issues like cholesterol, sugar levels and blood pressure.  But the tests are just part of the fair.  One of the more important gifts is education.

Hardtner offers this fair to the community as part of a commitment to a healthier region.  The physicians say patients who know more about their bodies are easier to treat and nurses here say the questions they encounter give them hope for fewer ER visits and more patients who are willing to do their part to stay healthy.
