Habitat for Humanity will host a Big Ol’ Garage Sale fundraiser, Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Sally’s building behind Bancorp South on Jackson Street Extension.
The purpose of this event is to raise revenue to help support Habitat’s work of building safe, decent, and affordable shelter with working poor families.
The Big Ol’ Garage Sale will begin at 6AM and end at 2PM. The event will also feature a stud sale whereby attendees can purchase a stud for $5 each. The studs will be used to frame the next Habitat house. Stud buyers can write their best wishes and/or blessing to the Habitat family on the studs. Stud purchases could also be in memory or in honor of someone.
