Group Receives Grant to Develop Fulton
A seven and a half million-dollar federal loan guarantee is being awarded to Southern Hospitality Group to develop the Fulton Hotel.
The announcement of the USDA loan comes from the office of 5th District Congressman Ralph Abraham.
The money is to be used to buy and renovate the 7-story, 173-room hotel adjacent to the Riverfront Center. Plans are for the hotel to become a part of the Holiday Inn chain once it’s renovated.
