Grant Parish Deputies Deliver Toys to Children

Grant Parish Deputies are playing Santa’s elves today.  They joined Santa a bit early to deliver toys to some children in Grant Parish.

Sheriff Steven McCain says they called on Angola inmates to refurbish bicycles.

But that’s not all.

Deputies prevailed on Run Wild in Alexandria to provide them with new shoes for children.

The sheriff’s office has traditionally provided toys for Grant Parish children, but the sheriff says this year is different, because they’ve been able to partner with others and make the gifts more special.
