Grant Parish Couple Attempt to Sell Drugs to Children
Grant deputies arrest a couple in the Springhill Community for reportedly trying to sell drugs to children.Deputies say Jeanie Evans of Pollock and Daniel Stellwageon of Ball led them on a high-speed chase at night and turned off their headlights.
Later, the van crashed, and though the woman reportedly said the man had drugs, none were found. Each is accused of a variety of charges stemming from the incident.
Stellwagon, 20 years old, of Ball, was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Obstruction of Justice, Criminal Trepassing, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
Evans, 32 years old, of Pollock, was arrested for Aggravated Flight from an Officer, Criminal Mischief, Criminal Damage to Property, Speeding, Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, Driving without Headlights, Driving Under Suspension, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Felony Theft.
