Flower Show Theme: Nature’s Gift at Harvest Time

A spectacular flower show will be on display tomorrow afternoon in Lecompte. This year’s standard flower show ‘s them is “Nature’s Gifts at Harvest Time”. Participants can enter in three divisions: horticulture, design, and special exhibits, which even include the methods for making a small herb garden.

This is an inspiration for everyone who’s planning ahead for holiday tables and sideboards.

The show takes place in doctor E.L. Henry’s home, which dates from the 1890’s. It’s located on Water street in Lecompte and is also the official home of the Louisiana Garden Club Federation.
