Family Counseling Agency Transition
After decades of remarkable and valuable service to central Louisiana, decease on June 6, sick 2013, the Board of Directors for the Family Counseling Agency was forced to cease operations of the FCA. For months, the Board investigated all available information and exhausted every potential option to continue services, but untenable fiscal problems forced closure. Nearly all of the programs formerly provided by the FCA have been transitioned to other management.
Anger management programs and most general counseling services will continue to be offered by George Allen, LMFT, who can be reached at 318-664-0067.
Sexual assault services will continue with the following agencies:

Child and Adult Crisis Response Teams will continue to be available through the Office of Behavioral Health.
