False Imprisonment Arrest

May 2, 2013 – A 33 year-old Alexandria man is arrested for holding a woman against her will and threatening her with a knife. Police say it happened Wednesday night in the 3000 block of Asber Street.

When officers were dispatched to the residence in reference to a disturbance, they found that Darbon was involved in an argument with the female victim; he threatened   to harm her if she left the residence. Police say Darbon was armed with a knife. They were able to take him into custody and secure the weapon.  The 37-year-old victim was not injured.

Darbon was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. He is charged with False Imprisonment/Offender Armed with a Weapon, Aggravated Assault, and Warrant – Alexandria City Court (failure to pay a fine).
