Oct. 20: Cancer Support Group, Noon, Cascade Room in Rapides Women’s and Children’s Hospital. If you or someone you know has cancer, or you are a caretaker of someone with cancer, please join this group on the third Monday of each month.

Oct. 20: Sibling Class, 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m., Cascade Room, Rapides Women’s and Children’s Hospital. This free class is offered to children expecting a little brother or sister. It helps them understand where mom is when the baby is being born and lets them know how important it is to become a big brother or sister.
NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Department of Fine + Graphic Art will present the inaugural 45 Second Video Art Show, a competition open to individuals and collaborators 18 years or older. Only video works 45 seconds or less will be considered.
