Summer Genealogy & History Camp

A fee of $10 per participant must accompany Registration Form. Campers must be 12 years of age or older. The fee covers workbook and refreshments.
Purpose of the Camp is to acquaint the participants with proper genealogical and historical research. Campers will receive a workbook with all the material that will be used in doing research during this camp. Campers will do research in Printed Media and will be given instruction on the use of computers in genealogical research and the role that the Internet plays in research.
Proper documentation of these sources will be discussed. Campers will be acquainted with records found in parish/county courthouses and other facilities. Campers will learn about recording cemetery information.
Charles Neal will present his American Flag Program.
