Cenla Day at the Legislature
May 1 @ 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm
2018 Central LA Day at the Legislature
The Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Central Louisiana Day at the Legislature will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Following a full day of events at the State Capitol, the Chamber will host a legislative reception downtown at City Club of Baton Rouge.
Central Louisiana Day will once again provide Chamber members with an opportunity to hear from state legislators and to weigh in on vital issues. The agenda begins at 11:00 a.m. with a briefing by members of the Central Louisiana State Legislative Delegation in a House Committee Room that will be announced at a later date. Governor John Bel Edwards will provide a welcome, briefing and will take a picture with the group. Following this, we will meet in the Capitol Rotunda to visit the House and Senate floors to be recognized as a group.
This year, we have limited booth space available which will be awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis. Booths will be located on the Senate side of the Rotunda which offers a perfect opportunity to highlight your business.
There is no cost to attend, but this notable event is made possible through the generous sponsorships of Chamber members. I sincerely thank you for investing in the Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce as a member and ask that you give serious consideration as a sponsor of Central Louisiana Day at the Legislature. Your participation will help make this valuable program a reality again this year.
