LSUA, the Rapides Parish Library and the Friends of the Rapides Library present Hometown History: The Ins and Outs of Local History by V. Elaine Thompson, Ph.D. Thompson is an assistant professor in the History Department at Louisiana Tech University and the author of Clinton, Louisiana: Society, Politics and Race Relations in a Nineteenth-Century Southern Small Town.
