Enhanced utility billing system launched
Alexandria, Louisiana— Alexandria’s new enhanced utility billing system makes it easier to manage your account, access your information, and pay your bill online. Advanced features are accessible nearly 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from your computer or mobile device.
In line with Alexandria’s efforts to provide convenient customer service and as part of its SMARTAlex initiative, the City of Alexandria is pleased to provide this improved portal for online utility account viewing and payments.
This improved payment portal with enhanced functionality is designed to provide a more user-friendly customer experience.
Some of these changes include:
* New security and encryption features
* Redesigned navigation menu
* Ability to view your transaction history
* Ability to reset your password
* Easier payment functionality
* Ability to schedule a payment
* Resolved pop-up blocker issues.
Utility customers have options to view bill information such as current balance, next due date, current payments and adjustments. Previous bill/payment information as well as 13-month consumption data for electric, gas and water are also available.
