Not so great news for Who Dat Nation.
During the NFC rival game against the Los Angeles Rams, QB Drew Brees suffered a hit to his throwing hand as he going for a pass.
Rams’ DT, Aaron Donald collapsed hands with Brees and caused a torn ligament that caused him to be out for the rest of the game.
Brees did get checked and taped and even returned to the game, but not to the field.
ESPN insider, Adam Schefter confirmed Monday morning that Brees will have immediate surgery but be out at least six weeks, depending upon progress of recovery.
In the meantime, back-up quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater will step in during this time.
