DOTD to Close Part of LA 477 Sept. 5th

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 477, generic Winn Parish, hospital will is closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work is being done at Milepost 0.000 and is on Control Section 864-11. The closure will be Thursday, here September 5, 2013 from 7:00 AM with a reopening to traffic at 7:00 PM on September 5, 2013. The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to replace the ties thru the crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. There will not be a detour for this closure being the state maintenance ends before intersecting with another state route. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure. In case of an emergency, the track will be opened for the proper officials.
