Domestic Abuse in Grant Parish
Press Release – The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of a domestic disturbance where shots had been fired on January 8, 2015.
Deputies discovered that Walter Neal Box, Jr. had fired a shotgun over his wife’s head, beaten her, destroyed her cell phone, and threatened to kill her if she left. All of this was done in the presence of their children.
Walter Neal Box, Jr., 41 years old, of Atlanta, La., was arrested for Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment, three counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Illegal Use of Weapons, and False Imprisonment.
