Dixon Cleared of Ethics Charges

A former Rapides Parish School Board president is cleared of ethics violations. Janet Dixon appeared with her attorney, Tommy Davenport, today to talk about the ruling.

Dixon chose not to run again for the school board, and her husband Herbert Dixon also resigned his post as a state representative. Herbert Dixon acknowledged he’s fighting cancer and said he and his wife wanted to make his health their first priority.
