Deputies Investigate 2nd Inmate Death This Month
class=”alignleft wp-image-39157″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/prisonbars.jpg” alt=”prisonbars” width=”176″ height=”132″ />Rapides Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating another inmate death, though they say there are no signs of foul play.
Deputies say 24-year-old Robert Keith Rachal Junior of Deville had a seizure yesterday afternoon in the downtown jail and fell off his bunk. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he died today.
He had been arrested for DWI, hit and run, and careless operation. An autopsy and toxicology tests are underway.
This is the second inmate death this month.
