Deputies Arrest a Deville Woman for Cyberstalking
Press Release – On December 1st , 2014, deputies responded to the 100 block of North 3rd Street Alexandria, La. in reference to a harassing telephone complaint. Deputies contacted the victim who alleged the suspect, identified as Lydia McDaniel Hutson, was calling them continually and text messaging them. The victim had asked Hutson to stop but the harassment continued. RPSO Detectives began their investigation into Cyberstalking and after a thorough investigation and evidence was gathered, an arrest was made on Hutson for 105 counts of Cyberstalking and 1 count of Stalking. Hutson was booked in the Rapides Parish Detention Center and later released on $18,000.00 bond. Detectives say the investigation is still ongoing.
