Community Officials Urge Citizens to Sign Fort Polk Petition

savefortpolkIt’s letter-signing day in Central Louisiana to support Fort Polk.

Community officials are urging everyone to sign letters of support to save Fort Polk. It’s in danger of losing an entire brigade of more than 65 hundred soldiers because of federal budget cuts. Officials say this would be an economic catastrophe.

Reese is the CEO of a moving company that is directly dependent on the military base for his company’s livelihood.
