Community Impact Award Proposal Deadline August 28th

Alexandria, LA, August 17, 2015– The Community Impact Award, presented by the Central Louisiana Community Foundation and funded by a private donor, is given each year to one deserving non-profit organization or project which will enhance or improve the quality of life in Central Louisiana. Since its creation in 2009, the Community Impact Award has awarded more than 0,000 to local non-profits. Past recipients include the Rapides Children’s Advocacy Center, Alexandria Museum of Art, Central Louisiana AIDS Support Services, United Way of Central Louisiana, and Hands Over Hearts.

Only 501(c)(3) non-profits may submit a proposal.  One applicant will be chosen and will receive an award in the amount of $75,000. Proposals and required attachments must be received by noon on Friday, August 28th, 2015. Guidelines and attachments may be accessed on the Central Louisiana Community Foundation website at http://www.clcf.net.  The Community Impact Award will be presented in late October.
