Community Complaints Lead to Drug Arrests

Ray-Anthony-Scott-mugComplaints from the community lead to two arrests for drug distribution.  Rapides Deputies say they busted 40-year-old Ray Anthony Scott and 27-year-old Randi Kay Schweyher after searching Scott’s home on Levin Street.

Scott was advised of his Miranda rights and gave written consent to search the residence.  Just inside the front door, deputies located an illegal length shotgun.  Deputies located 36 varying size bags of marijuana.  Scott and Schweyher were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.  Schweyher was released on a $5,000.00 bond.  Scott is being held on a $10,000.00 bond.

“When we get complaints from our citizens anywhere in the parish, we will investigate.  We appreciate the communities involvement in helping us with these narcotics complaints” said Major Kris Cloessner, Metro Division Commander.
