Come See What Being A Lion is All About!
Hosted by the Alexandria Lions Club
Tuesday, April 29th 5:30-7:30
Brocato’s Restaurant, 5515 Coliseum Blvd. Alexandria LA 71303
Potential members are in invited to our Alex Lions Meet and Greet on Tuesday, April 29. We’ll be at Brocato’s Restaurant from 5:30-7:30, enjoying fried catfish and shrimp creole. There will be a short (10 minute) program explaining our service projects. This is primarily a social event so that prospective members can get to know us.
As a volunteer organization, the Alexandria Lions Club believes that a small amount of work by a large number of members can create a great deal of good for our local community and our world.
The Alexandria Lions Club meets on Wednesdays at noon at the Piccadilly Restaurant on MacArthur Drive. A private buffet lunch is served while we conduct our meetings. Speakers are invited each week to inform the Club about community events and services available.
The Club has social activities that include a Holiday Gala and an Installation Banquet. Members are also invited to attend District, State, and International Lions Club conventions.
Club membership costs $45 per month, billed quarterly, which includes meals, and Club, State, and International dues. Many companies and businesses will reimburse their employees for membership in the Alexandria Lions Club.
