Co-Ed Club Golf Team to Start at LSUA

You can be part of the inaugural team for the 2014-2015 year.

LSUA has joined the National Collegiate Club Golf Association. The list of teams in the Gulf Region is expanding. Other teams currently in the NCCGA Gulf Region I include: Northwestern State (2014 pending), LSU A&M, Tulane University, and University of Southern Mississippi.
There will be one tournament each semester – class time will NOT be affected as the tournaments are only Saturday and Sunday. USGA rules, regulations, and etiquette will be observed at all time. Attire will consist of collared shirt and no denim. Participants will provide their own equipment.
This club sport will be led by Coach Emily Heiman Myrick. Practice sessions will be held at the Alexandria Golf and Country Club. Dues are $75 per semester per player. Players will be asked to assist with fundraisers to help cover tournament cost. Club members will compete to be able to attend the conference tournaments. Up to eight players can compete in each tournament. Conference winners advance to national competition.
