Clyde Holloway Calls for CLECO CEO to Resign

class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-37709″ src=”” alt=”clecosign” width=”500″ height=”280″ />Public Service Commissioner Clyde Holloway is calling for the resignation of CLECO CEO Bruce Williamson.

Last week news broke that the utility headquartered in Pineville is set to be sold.

Holloway says CLECO no longer practices positive community partnership. Holloway says neither Williamson nor the majority of the CLECO board have any ties to Central Louisiana and only a few to the state. He says the utility’s corporate decisions are being driven by Wall Street and not by people in Central Louisiana.
