Nov. 28, 2016 — Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC), CB&I (NYSE: CBI), and Fort Polk will launch a new workforce development program to train transitioning soldiers as electricians. The program will be housed at the college’s Lamar Salter Campus in Leesville near Fort Polk.
CLTCC is partnering with CB&I, a leading provider of technology and infrastructure for the energy industry, to help prepare soldiers on active duty for a civilian career as their term of service expires.
